The general purpose of CAG is to encourage and stimulate the practice and appreciation of the creative arts. The term “creative arts” includes visual and performing arts. Specifically, CAG shall strive to generate a vibrant arts district centered in Cayce for citizens to learn about, participate in, and enjoy art; stimulate interest in the creative arts by promoting and developing programs and projects that are of educational value; by presenting quality art learning experiences, performances, exhibits, and sales to the community it serves; and to assist or encourage local efforts which enable others to create their own art. CAG is a SCSOS incorporated non-profit and IRS designated tax exempt 501c3 organization.

1. The membership year is January-December. Membership for new members joining after October 1 will continue through the next calendar year.
2. In addition to those making art (music, performance, writing, 2-D and 3-D), membership is open to all who have an interest in the arts, are dedicated to the purpose of CAG, and agree to provide leadership to grow the organization and encourage each other’s talents.
3. No approval is required for membership.
4. Members are expected to actively participate, encourage, and mentor each other.
Members who participate in CAG events and exhibits acknowledge that participants hold harmless CAG, sponsoring and participating organizations, their directors, officers, employees, agents, and volunteers from any responsibility, personal liability, claims, loss or damage arising out of or in conjunction with participation.
