About Roy Paschal and this month’s program
Roy will show us how he develops a statue; Charles Hite will be the model for a quick clay sketch.
A professional sculptor for over thirty years, Roy Paschal creates fine art bronzes, portraits, and monumental works that vary both in subject matter and medium. His sculptures are found in galleries, private collections, parks, and museums throughout the country.
Roy uses traditional methods and tools, he typically sculpts in clay, makes a mold, and then creates castings in bronze, or resin. Many of Roy’s sculptures have been carved in stone. Roy’s presentation will introduce you to his work and the process from clay to bronze.
