Please bring some of your artwork to share, even if it’s something still in progress. Also feel free to bring any supplies you are no longer needing or using. We will have a supply table set up for sharing.
Our presenter for the evening will be CAG member Kathyrn Jaye (Katie) of Gothic Glass. Katie is a self-taught artist. Her designs are Victorian and Edwardian wax floral art, candles and Victorian-themed pieces.

About Katie Joye
Katie began by using old broken bottles to display her wax flowers. She then began mounting the flowers using wax and a variety of techniques from old books to different backings. She loves creating textured looks on the canvases, using layers of wax, glass and acrylic paint. Through her business, Gothic Glass, Katie hopes to educate people about the lost art of Victorian wax flowers and art.
Katie is a member of the Cayce Arts Guild and has her works displayed at the Tri-City Leisure Center in West Columbia and the State of the Art Pottery and Gallery in Cayce. Last year Columbia Pet Cremation began featuring Gothic Glass custom pet memorials in their Cayce location. She has been accepted to participate in the 2023 Rosewood Art Festival.
